Kent and Darlene's tropical wedding was one for the books. The perfect blend of silly and sincere, this event inspired both belly-laughter and misty-eyes as we all celebrated their friendship and love. Friends, colleagues, and now a beautiful addition to our Bliss Couple Ohana, we are so blessed to have these two in our lives and were so honored to be a part of their special day.
We absolutely love a wedding that incorporates the couples' personality, and Kent and Darlene provided just that. From their whimsical and creative drink menu to their dinner and dessert request of pizza and Komoda doughnuts, this wedding was undeniably them. One of our favorite details to create was their cake. As the couple are lovers of Komoda's melt-in-your-mouth glazed stick doughnuts as well as feline-fanatics, we constructed a wedding 'cake' out of stick doughnuts for them, topping it off with cat-faced cake toppers.
It's the details, the personal touches, and the love put in that make a wedding truly spectacular, and Kent and Darlene's wedding had all that and more. Kukahiko Estate blossomed in gorgeous, tropical hues at the talented hands of Della of Dellables Wedding Florals and Design while the dancers of Manutea Nui E lit up the night and brought a fun and festive island flair to the evening. Chef Tiffany of Maui Catering Services and her fun-loving mermaids provided creative and delicious appetizers, including Caprese Salad Musubis the couple still dream about to this day.
We truly are so blessed to work with so many incredible and passionate wedding vendors. Mahalo to everyone involved for making this day complete bliss! It was an event to remember, and we are so thankful that we were a part of this monumental day.
