At the risk of sounding cliche, Katelyn and Eric are truly a match made in heaven. Their smiles illuminated their seaside celebration and only grew as the evening unfolded. We are so grateful the talented Anna Kim Photography was there to capture every island-inspired detail and honest and enamored glance.
After a heartfelt ceremony, newlyweds and their friends and family witnessed a taste of Hawaii out on the oceanfront-lawn of Sugar Beach. With tropical cocktails in hand, guests watched as members of Manutea Nui E danced with grace and passion, ending their performance with a breathtaking 'ailao afi, Samoan Fire Knife dance. As the outdoor festivities came to a close, the doors to the reception opened up, welcoming the festivities to continue in the stunning Grand Hall with an unobstructed view of the moon-lit ocean as the backdrop.
The night was filled with so much sincere emotion. There was not a dry eye during the special dance to honor and commemorate a loved one passed. However, once the dance ended, the beautiful and sentimental ambiance was whisked away as an upbeat energy took its place. The music changed, the energy shifted, and the party went to a whole different level.
These people know how to tear up a dance floor! I don't think we have ever seen so many routine dances in one event. The laughter and fun was infectious. It was truly a celebration of family and love, with an undeniable sense of complete joy and bliss!
