Standing in a circle of bright flowers on the grassy shore of Kukahiko Estate, Theresa and Graham celebrated their years of marriage by having a vow renewal ceremony. There is something so sacred about witnessing a couple who not only have pledged a lifetime of love and devotion to one another, but who now know more than ever the true dedication marriage takes, and are still so unbelievably in love that they choose to renew their vows to each other once again.
Bruce Lee said that, "love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable." This is the type of love that never dies--the type that matures and evolves from a flame into something more deep and everlasting.
I hope that we all find a love that so gracefully burns with the enduring warmth that Theresa and Graham's does.
